That david payne needs to be slapped over the head 300 times.
I wonder why hsv have more cars on the road, i wonder why they have a broader model range, i wonder why they have so much technology. Hmmm my answer is they have been around about 3 times longer then FPV. If FPV had been around since or even before hsv then i'm sure he wouldnt have said one smart a*** remark like that.
As for the GT-HO program IF they do it they better get it right or they will suffer for the screw up. The thing is they have to keep the name going, not a half a*** attempt.(as he said)

I think the GT-P should be ditched, and GT-HO should be brought in, no point in having the GT-P then which would just be some misfit inbetween GT and GT-HO.

GTHO = GT-P + CAPA Kit + FPV Warranty

Would only need 350RWKW to kill any HSV for the next few years. And they'd SELL.

HSV? technology? where?

HSV had a big technology lead with the VL/VN Group A's, but after that they just became a jazzed up family hack with lowered springs and better tyres that gave the impresion that the FE2 suspension performed better than it actually did

Wouldn't they have problems releasing it to the public, i was reading a article in motor magazine or was it wheels were HSV were saying that they could but won't release a 300kw+ road car for a while because they don't think it is needed and they do not want to start "kilowatt wars". :?

Are HO's supercharged?
I thought HO's started as GT's with better handling, and eventually were just beefed up N/a GT's! Didn't know they were supercharged.

They never were. But what do you do to an engine to get more power these days??????? Forced induction is your more common answer.

Didn't think so. Well, the chances of Ford forcing it are zero in my opinion. I mean if they bring back the HO name, there gunna want to keep it like it was, so if it wasn't forced from factory back then, I seriously doubt it will be now!

The old H.O.s were not supercharged, but most people tip that if a modern version was built , that it would be supercharged.

Samsy hit the nail on the head. As i said it is the modern day interpretation as was the return of the GT. So they are adding a modern day power increaser in the supercharger.
There were rumours it would be either a supercharged V10 or supercharged V8, as in both cases both rumours suggested supercharging or at least some type of forced induction.
Plus ford now have the xr6T how many people would have expected that (into the future) when the first xr6 came out???
