hopefully for the sake of formula 1 they do stay competitive. they will have 2 good drivers and the cars will have good engines as there has been a freeze put on the development of that side of things. however whenever teams have personel leave, esp a major person like ross braun, there is bound to be a period of time taken for the new positions to gel together again.

Well they wern't at THE top this year they were second in WDC and WCC to renault. As you have stated they are loosing two top personel and a multi world champion from the racing team and that has to hurt them. Continuity has been a big asset for them in recent years. You only need to look down the grid to see how this could unfold for them. Take Williams and Maclaren for example, even though both have a excellent result history in F1 both I feel are on the way down. Time will tell if this is terminal for them.
