Seasons Greetings All Fordmods Members,
The Admin team has decided to hold a nominations for all cruise moderator positions for 2008.
We are currently seeking nominations for the following positions

NSW - 3 Positions
ACT - 1 Position
VIC - 3 Positions
TAS - 1 Position
SA - 1 Position
WA - 2 Positions
NT - 1 Position
QLD - 2 Positions

If you are interested please add your name to the list below under the appropriate State. nominations will run till the 27th of December 2007 and the Admin team will then discuss and decide on the positions

The role would require someone who is self motivated and has good organizational skills. We would require a cruise to be run in each state around once every 6 weeks if not more often depending on the state.
You will have help etc from either another cruise mod or the admin team

All current cruise mods are automatically up for re-election unless they have asked not to run again.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me

Regards
Nick

I guess my first question is why?

I'm happy with the way the VIC mods are doing things. More weekend cruises more often is the only thing I'd like to see, as it's too far in between drinks for those who can't make the previous event.

Well done to all current mods on your top efforts.

Ambs, wants to apply, but know there's no point.

are we able to elect members to attend cruises! for cruises to happen we require good numbers, we had a good attendance at the start of the year, then it died off. and if f**k all people attend/bag the f**k out of the cruises i DO organize i in all honesty can't be bothered organzing them.

Frank as walker said - if you have a renewed interest after your year off then by all means apply
As with you Amber please throw your name up on the list!

We like to give members the chance to nominate themselves for a cruise mods as it gives us a chance to have fresh blood on the team and for each year of cruises to be different. If it was the same people over and over the cruises can get a bit repetative.
Also a lot of people loose interest in doing cruises etc as there interest or hobbies or situation change

If you think you would like to give it a go - list your name and in december i will send a copy of the cruise moderator guidelines to all those that are interested.

Has there ever been a stand alone ACT cruise group?
Or has it always been part of the NSW cruise group?

So there is not enough ACT members to have its own separate cruise group & forum?
