you can get addons that automatically shrink photos.

we've put it on boosted, highly recommended especially for those retards who can't help but post 1600x1200 photos.

I'm sure Waggin already has something planned for that anyway.

Hey--- You're not winning any points with Waggin going about it THAT way Benj.

Just reduce your sig, resize all your photos and stop complaining. Just bend over and take it, and then tell Waggin you love it really, you were just kidding.

Not happy Jan

I think there is a "subscribe" option now... I couldn't find my own build thread for quite some time (search finally found it!) and then had to repeat the excessive nature of this exercise before finding the subscribe thingymidangle. Go forth, experiment.

(And yeah - I too, am on a fibre optic net connection and and rapidly caring less and less about people on dial up... The first page of my build is about 2mb long with all those pictures... That'll sort out the men from the boys)...

Go forth, experiment. Just don't complain.... ;)

FIEND - 900 odd posts - only 666 of them complaining...

My Dear Waggin,

please look into the double reference to attachments that have appeared INLINE.

I realise this is a little complicated, and I am not aware of the coding requirements of this system, but I think it'll be do-able.

Cheers big brother.

As for full screen, by limiting the screen width we're able to perform more accurate dynamic HTML which will become evident as further changes are made to the site. This is only the beginning.

We're now displaying MORE information per square inch than previously, so while we're not using the full width, we are getting more information on your page - I don't see any problem with that!

Maybe you shuld have a look at benjs black t5 ghia wagon- its black baby thread in the garage.

I cant read his update today because your new site has cut it on the lefthand side.

When will the search be on cos i am sick of it saying words like smartlock and ford dont come up with results.

I too needed the assistance with a tech doc over the weekend and i was diapointed that the pics where not showing

I fixed this for you - you placed the inline attachment twice, which is why it displayed twice :P

Search is still not working - this has been noted about 20 times now.

BENJ's signature breaks the Forum Guidelines stating that signature images should not be greater than 120x500px.

Tech doc images should be up and running shortly.

Well i started doing that in v2 and relised you cant have the writing inbetween your pics, say if your showing steps on a mod you did.

also they turn up backwards at the bottom of the post so whats the point in that.

As a result most users using photobucket or similar.

Inline attachments allow you to place your uploaded photos wherever you wish in the post body, so this is no longer an issue.

Testing the inline attachment thing... Seems to work good. A lot better than the old way. I simply thought I'd save FordMods internet traffic expense by using photobucket ( http://photobucket.com/fordmods )

WARNING TO ALL USERS OF SIGNATURES.

Due to complaints received (waggin) that my sig was too large (it was), I advise everyone to reduce their sigs to a max of 119 x 499 or risk deletion... This means you BENJ, JOSHIE, DISCO MAN...

As we all know Waggin doesn't read my complaint posts any more, so can say whatever I damn well like in this space...
