Hey Waggin

On some occassions when the pop up box saying a new PM has arrived, it is in a strange layout/format.

Not sure if that is site related or browser related, but thought you should know.

BenJ

Is a help to s**t developers if you say what platform you are experiencing it on - ie - Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0? I use Firefox 3.0, and haven't noticed what you're talking about - although I don't actually get any PM's other than some system operator guy telling me off for being an A hole, so I don't pay much attention to the little box...

We need a Fiend Get over it thread or topic to over come his signature pic. Really starting to get into the feel of the new site, i think the blue background people want will just make this site look like the old r31downunder site.

waggin...

with the old fordmods you could..

search for a particular modders gallery using ...

alphabetical order..
most hits..
most recently updated..

however with the new gallery the only options you have is by either..
"most recently updated"..
"or searching through 127 pages to find a particular gallery"..

where did the "alphabetical" and "most hits" options go???

Yeah, noticed this little issue, among others. In Wagmans defense he is obviously going to restore this sort of functionality and (believe it or not) I didn't want to add more and more and more to this thread by bothering him and the world with it all...

Anyone ever see Twilight Zone?...

Yeah, I'm aware of this. The old search features were crap, so I'm re-writing them all from scratch. On the downside, I didn't have them ready for the Fordmods v3.0 release, so we'll just have to wait a few more days :)

ok, last couple days threads having been playing up, im running IE7

linked pictures in a thread will show up the first time i view the page, but if i go back to the same page and there hasnt been any new posts, the page will load without the pics. Only when someone has added a new post to the thread, the pics/page will load up correctly for me again.

commercial-sponsors-forum-f53/benj-s-eb-t5-ghia-stealth-wagon-t71774-480.html

one example is, i just clicked on page 25 of benj's thread and only the first picture after "This is the bonnet after the first colour coat, and has been sanded with wet and dry." showed up.

however the first time i viewed his post, all the pictures of his black wagon showed up

2nd example is when i click on this thread
exterior-modifications-f15/opinions-wanted-wheels-for-car-pics-t74740.html

my post with pictures of dr hemi's red EL fairmont doesnt show up, but when i first posted it, i could see the pics. If i refresh the browser the pics show up however.

The categories on the home page were great just yesterday but changed again.. It was nice being able to directly click V8 Workshop or Gearbox section. Now have to go to forums and click them separately.. Why!! :(
