it was a great run at the end and the commodore driver definately wanted to catch lowndes on the last lap...

its funny how the commodores dropped out like flyies... 3x holdens then 2 fords then many many holdens drop out, it was great

well done to lowndes/whincup and well done ford.

ALTHO I JUST HEARD ON THE NEWS THAT THE DRIVER THAT WAS IN THE ACCIDENT ON FRIDAY (FORD DRIVER) JUST DIED IN HOSPITAL

RIP BROCKY/OTHER FORD DRIVER (SORRY FORGOT NAME)

What the deal with the guy running a 15.5 in his V8 manual, I had a 84 blue bird that could do that time….

Anyone who parades and f@rt about doing a 14.xx or greater, needs to have a ride in a fast car.

So what if i did a 15.5? The only comeback Casper has is some illusion he has that I'm heavier than an AU XR6?

I don't care if your car does a 15.5 with 4 blown tyres. That was the time I was able to get after 2 runs at Calder park. That was the only time I ran the car.

Casper. Why don't you chuck a 12000rpm stall in, and a 12.9:1 diff ratio to get your 'unopened' slug off the line and you might be able to get a 14.6? It'd SO be worth it! But be careful, you better truck it to any drag meets. Wouldn't want your monster family sedan stranded at the track? Who will get the kids after school and grab the groceries after work?

Why don't you and Casper take your b**ch session somewhere else, this topic is about the Bathurst win, not which of you 2 have the best penis extension.

Congrats to lownds and the rest of the team what a victory, not just for ford but a very fitting tribute to brock as craig lownds was brock's co driver and apprentice. Regardless of the badge how fitting was the end result.
Have to say it FORD RULES.

a manual EF/EL xr8 wouldnt even run a 14 from factory.. so now its older, its not performing as well as it was from the factory.. 15.5 is a pretty average time for what they do. Its not great, but its not bad either.
funny a*** thread though.

Thank f**k lowndesy/whincup won, i was so happy when i found out!

Yes a 15.5 isn't a bad time for an el xr8.

Congratulations to Craig Lowndes and Mark Porter, you guys were the most deserving of winning. A big f**k you goes out to the officials who released the safety car at times which were approprtiate (appropriate to let Prick Kelly catch up to Lowndes) when the car was 200m off the track, but not at times when the car was in the middle of the track, because that would have meant Lowndes would have won by default. So much f**kin corruption in this motorsport p**es me off. Anyway Ford won so makes the victory even better!

RIP Mark Porter. Condolances to his family
