Ok, I spoke briefly with Nick this afternoon on the phone - apart from sounding like something from a zombie movie, he was in relatively good spirits !

He heard / saw 'Nicko Aid' FB page and thought that was tops...and in true Nicko fashion he has asked me to pass on this message 'Tell them they're all C***'. <-- I'd usually censor that kind of language...but because it's Nicko, I thought it may not seem real without dropping the 'C' bomb :P

Hopefully he'll be on the exponential improve and we will all be able to catch up with him soon :)

Truly great news to be receiving; I am sure the catching up with things, recuperation and trying to get back to life will be a little long and maybe difficult, but it is still the best outcome we all had hoped for.

Cant wait to catch up again when you are better Nickos!
We gotta go for a cruise just like old days hey

Just waiting for a bed at rehab as i was in a coma lying still for a couple weeks my muscles waisted away so i have to go and get physio at rehab twice a day to become self sufficient again.
My voice is still coming back and it will be another fortnight till im home by myself.

Thanks again to everyone

Good on ya mate. Had a bit of the swine flu myself earlier on the piece, and am not sure how or why it effects people differently. I had a bad case compared to most, but a walk in the park compared to you poor guys who end up in hospital for weeks. Great to hear your voice is coming back, mine never seems to have fully recovered to its full high pitched shouting ability (but that's a good thing according to most) and that you're well on the road to full recovery.

Awesome indeed.

Now, if we could bottle whatever it is that makes Nicko Nicko and sell it on Ebay............................................................
