Take care mate, I will let all my mates know, and pass the photo around

it only takes 30 minutes to get an eseries started. you need a drill and your own key barrel with a key to it. thats how we started my uncles new bush basher, drilled out the old barrel, put the new one in and left it to re train the smart lock.

Always pays to put an extra imobilisation point in by switch doesnt it. I'll be putting in several, turning off the injectors and the fuel pump in non-bypassable and very hidden locations.

Sorry for your lost mate, I hope it comes back unmarked or if you have it insured enough to not come back at all, because it would always feel violated as you don't know what they done with it.
There is a high chance they towed it like many factory immobilised cars when they don't have a key, remember it is 30mins for pre EFII and 1hr for EFII to AU pre smartshield to bypass smartlock immobiliser. It could be backed up to and towed away in under a minute with one of the old lift type tow trucks. I still remember how devastated a workmate was nearly 20yrs ago when he ran out of fuel in his unmarked white VK (I think) Brock Commonwhore, it was his baby, I think it was less than 30mins to get back with fuel to find it was not there, it was in clear view on a motorway type road about 7am in the morning in a North Sydney suburb, he wasn't a young man so he didn't take it well even though it was insured, I think he would still own it and treat it the same today if it wasn't stolen. Anyone remember the Australian movie called "Midnight Spares", I think it had a heap of HQ one tonner tow trucks ripping off cars fast, it is still probably happening in real life today everywhere, immobilisers have made it harder to hot wire a car and it would be safer for thieves to guarantee theft of the vehicle than getting caught inside trying to start it.

Any word on it mate? It was definitely a nice car, hopefully the person is dumb enough to leave it in one piece, rather than stripping it.
Good luck getting it back.
