I got some alternators for sale.

EB 6cyl alternator, fully reco'd $100
AU 6cyl alternator fully reco'd $150
XE-XF alternator fully reco'd $50
VT Calais v6 alternator fully reco'd $130
Magna (late model 108A) alternator fully reco'd $150

Would much prefer local pick up, can deliver to brisbane area if required.

you'd be best off putting an internal reg one on there, but its all up to you.

how hard is it for me to wire up a an internal reg one since it is current running a ext. reg? and how much?

what is an external reg one worth too out of interest?

to be honest, i've never purchased one before.
i'm not even sure they make them anymore.
i took a look at my clevo alternator, and the brackets look like sigma brackets modified to suit.

all that's involved to change to internal reg is working out which connection is for your warning light (on the dash) and connecting it to the D+ terminal on the alternator. The rest you can tuck away.

do the exchaser ef's have a bigger alternator?
if so how many amps is it?

im not 100% sure but some taxi's on eb's had 100A alternators instead of 70amp.
if you've got an ef, it should have a 110A alternator.
