However could all those quoted figures be actually correct? Sounds like it'd leave v8's at the starting line...

all the figures are legit.
I know the current owner and theres been loads spent on it.

Yes it was for sale on AFF for a while and he didn't get one offer so he took the post down.
Won't sell on ebay either i'd say.

I know a guy who used to work with AVO at the time, its the real deal. Cool car.

did this car use to be maroon ?? there was one in a ford mag mid 90's that held the carvan towing record from memory

that amount of torque is sort of what shocked me... That'd be the sickest fun...

Tis the car we have here thaT holds the caravan record until it was beaten not too long ago, and which the owner planned on regaining. Not sure it was ever maroon though?

in the street fords mag i have, its a colour similar to hot chilli red.

just so you guys know, the caravan towing record was beaten by a Dodge Viper. they needed an 8.3L V10 to bring down our 4.0!

It was also beaten by a Mk5 Escort Cosworth that ran 198mph without the van, but only 124ish with the van

theres top gears attempt in a heavily modified evo 7..didn't beat it, and blew the gearbox i think..

the ea is one weapon of a car, what would it run down the 1/4mile ?

Its not *that* quick down the 1/4... simply because its not set up for it.
circuit suspension/manual is not very 1/4 mile friendly.
