we have developed a cold air intake for BA XR8 an GT falcons
easy to fit and look factory. they are $80 plus $10 postage to your door.
you just drill or cut a 85mm hole into the side of your air cleaner cylinder and fit our air intake kit. takes about 15mins. to install.

hmmmm... what about retro fitting these onto EF/EL's? what kind of lid is there available on this? could one be custom made with an appropriate mandrel intake to support this set-up?

dont bother putting one on an ef/el, just get the au t series snorkel, they bolt straight up and have a pretty good air flow..

I'm sure this has been covered else where..

from sight measurements there is not enough workable room in the ef/el bay to attemp a fittment

i've got the AU snorkel - my issue is more so with the pod, and making it enclosed within the engine bay, rather than fitting it into the stock airbox...

BA air pod could be made to fit a E series just with a couple of mounting braket changes but they are over $200 to buy.

this set up will be on my GT-P at geelong if anyones intreted in one come and have a look.
