I have used dnons, pioneers, and the new technics ones, and like said before nothing compares to real vinyl.
Scratch used digitally time coded vinyl and you actually plug your turntables into your pc and scratch the mp3 on your pc It is awsome |

Impressive! But after DJ'ing on a PC for a couple of years, I was glad to ditch the heavy (and sometimes unreliable) PC for some CD decks.
With the new Technics and Denon decks with the spinning platter, you can accomplish the same thing as PCDJ, without having to rely on the variables of using a PC. But each to their own. I know what I'd prefer for mobile work ![]()

I agree for mobile work, scratch is a bit bulky, but when i was mobile i was using a pc, took me 15 mins to set up, from pc to sound system and lights. I had to mini towers and a KVM switch so if 1 dies i could switch over to the other. I dj's like this for a good 6 years, then got into clubs here in Brissy
