Hi, i have a full cruise control conversion (i think) out of a eb fairmont ghia. It consists of the speed control unit, the wiring (seperated from body wiring harness), steering wheel, brake switch, main controler thing (from left hand side of angine bay), cable, and the thing the cable is connected too (right hand side of engine bay). Dont know what its worth, just want it out of the shed so any reasonable offer wil be taken.

Howdy.

I'm not sure what its worth either, but very interested in it! Does ALL wiring required to run it come with it?

Put a price on it and let me know.

Cheers - Matt.

Hey it comes with all the wiring from the body wiring loom, which is a fair bit, but theres 3 wires that run from the main vacuum controller thing to i dont know where, ive got the plug and about 50cm of the wiring but as far as i can see all you will have to do is find where these 3 wires go and run a few lengths of wire. I just did a search and saw a ef/el cruise setup for $100, so how does $80 sound?

Cheers - Matt.

There is every chance that your EB (if it is an EBII) will have the cruise loom in any event.

$100 is pretty cheap for the whole lot. Just bear in mind that if the cruise loom is not under your centre console, then the loom may not be in the dash either. I know in my EBII (pre smartlock) it did not have all the required cruise connections in my original dash.

Just something to be wary of anyway!

I've got ABS, and still no loom in the dash!!

I wound up putting a Fairmont Ghia Dash in so that I could get the cruise loom. And all the other goodies!
