el does look better doesnt it.....

Yeah they are interchangable, might do i to mine one day when i get some casssh.

Mind you the EF front is growing on me.

you just call up the local registration office for a new number plate (tell them its for an elxr) or you can go to repco and ask for a ef->el numberplate adaptor.

Why do you need the number plate conversion or the different number plate?

Was it just different screw locations or is it something else?

yes its because of the new style numberplates...
the el xr's wer the first to use them....you find that el xr, and all the new cars use a different style of numberplates...and you exaclty rite...the screw locations were different!

You can make your own adapter with an old calculator and a blow torch. You can download instructions off the internet.
