i am looking to upgrade to a different car in the near future so i want to see if anyone would be interested in the fairmont.
1996 EF2 Fairmont Wagon. all power options in good working order, 4lt auto straight gas, bloody cheap to run. $40-45 to fill from empty = 400-450k's around town lowered on pedders springs and shocks reset leaf springs with extra leaves pacemaker extractors, 2 1/2" exhaust head recently reconditioned all 4 tyres have 95% tread on fairmont rims, plus i will throw in the 17" mags aswell (need wheel nuts) slight gutter scrapes and one has a tiny buckle but they look s**t hot on it. jvc cd/mp3 head unit with remote control + 12 stacker in back body is in excellent condition towbar interior is fantastic also. i would be looking for $6000 as this really is a good wagon. i am only going to sell as i need something a bit better to tow with. cheers Rob. p.s. the only photos i have are before it was lowered, looks heaps better now.

Damn, that is one horny wagon! I really like the blue EF fairy wagons.
Someone needs to pick this up! And LPG you can't argue with that. |

yes that was before it was lowered, i need something that can tow a car trailer easier, and yes it is a good looking wagon it will be a pity to see it go.

Rob, do you have a pic of it lowered?
I'm trying to get mine lower, but apparently it's as low it can go because of the LPG tank.

Manuals have a lower load rating for towing.

lol, id love to drop a nice clevo in here, but its also the mrs everyday car.
and as for the rating, the nsw rules now state you can tow what ever the manurfacturer recommends which with a manual falcon is 1600kg, which also happens to be what it is rated to at the moment with the towbar that is on it now, if you have an auto with a haymen reese type towbar you can tow 2500kg. i will only be towing a corty at 1100kg and a trailer around 400kg, so its ok for what i want. plus the falcon autos die if you tow heaps with them, i know from experience. (yes i had a big cooler on the front aswell)
