I'd be guessing it's manual as his cars a manual and if it's a spare then it needs to be compatiable for his car...

i'm pretty sure none of XRs had speed limmiters

I will most likely buy it off you next week when I have the car down here, I will only buy it once I have tried it out and see if the ecu has no speed limiter in it.

GUess he's just got to hope that you don't crash while doing you test! :P
As far as I know there's a reason why the Falcons ere limited, but not the XR's, so be careful...

it got to do with the tail shaft i think. the standard ones have steel ones and the xrs have alloy ones. soething like that
