Just to give you an idea on price. I sold my manual EF XR6 ECU for $470 and the conversion without ECU or pedal box for $600

How much for the engine by itself?
-Already got a 5speed Wonder if my tricked EL comp will work with the EF, Doesnt the computer need to be replaced to allow for the benefits of the shaved head.

gas man I just put an EF XR6 engine into my EL fairmont and am using a EL ghia ECU which had the same engines. You just need to use the dizzy from the EL motor and your set. The difference mine made is unbelievable. Although my old engine was a little tired.

-Never removed/installed a motor:
(car is on lpg) I have the 98Futura Auto ECU tricked the run manual. This will run the XR6 engine to near full / full capacity? -The shaved head: 1. how much was taken off? 2. Performance increase? 3. Assuming for head gasket, was an AU gasket used? 4. Can someone install this engine for me for a price? (mooseman, aussie or someone else?) -Lpg may be an issue? 5. Lpg, economy, performane, life with this engine? -Any comments 6. Standard exhaust, air intake (seems limited from lpg), driveline, everything else is ok with a simple engine conversion? Considering LSD and engine, need both installed if possible Thanks Matt Edit: Added more questions, you guys must love me  Thanks again

I have LPG on my car also and its not a real problem at all. I used my original fairmont ECU which is the same as yours with no problems. Once I put the ghia ecu in there was a slight performance increase though. Everything else from your car should bolt up. As for performance, my car was setup pretty much exactly like yours (98 fairmont, converted to manual, LPG, etc) and I noticed quite a decent performance increase.
