Everything here is brand new and still in boxes (except block obviously)

These components were bought with intentions of boosting so will hold up nicely in any configuration you choose to throw at it

Item: 4.0 AU VCT motor
Price: $200
Description:

Disassembled VCT motor to suit rebuild, i originally bought this motor to go into my Fairlane, i was prepping it for instal when i found water coming out number 4 cylinder spark plug hole so pulled it all down to investigate

The headgasket was totally waterlogged when i pulled it down, i'm assuming old owner left it out in rain when he took top half of inlet manifold off and subsequently let water into the motor
The oil in motor looked like new when i drained it so no water got down in bottom end thankfully

One of the headbolts where screwed so i had to grind it off, i accidently nipped the top of one of the cam journals with the bolt that holds blade on grinder so cam journal will need machining (around $80)

Motor also comes with the Series 1 ECU (smartlock model), engine wiring loom, alternator, power steering pump and all associated brackets to make this a simple conversion process
The only loom you will need is the one from ECU to the plug on the motor as i only have the engine loom itself on motor

I have tried to describe this motor as best i can, no hidden suprises, personally i would pull down bottom end whilst apart and fit new rings and bearings for a complete fresh new motor but that's just me

I could easily fix the cam journal and sell the complete head assembly for more than i'm asking for whole motor so price is pretty firm

To give you an idea on costs it cost me 150 to send the block, crank and rods to Perth from Brisbane so can see cheap as chips
