I have for sale my ASUS EeePC 701SD in black, it's the Linux model (although Microsoft Windows Vista is currently installed) so has the larger SSD HDD (8GB instead of 4GB). The unit is 7 months old (I have the original purchase receipts and delivery notes to prove this).
The unit has been upgraded somewhat - including touch screen, RAM upgraded to 2GB, internal bluetooth and internal extra memory (extra 4GB I think). Almost since new it's been used in a silicone cover. Also included is a silicone cover for the keyboard. Included is also the original neoprene pouch and an extra pouch for the accessories. There is also an IBM USB optical mouse to go with it. Originally purchased to be used tuneable ECU/chip on the Falcon, but havn't gotten around to that, and don't see myself in the near future. I image it would work well in a vehicle due to the low power consumption of the unit, the battery lasts a very long time and if you plug it into the car it wouldn't draw much at all. For more details and specifications check out the manufacturers website at http://eeepc.asus.com/global/product701sd.html?n=0 $300.00 ono. Happy to post at buyers expense. |
