Please see the build thread in my signature for extensive detail. Reluctantly putting up for sale my pride and joy of the past 5 years. This is a rare vehicle; AFAIK, it is the only car of its type in Australia. The "XR8" in the title refers to the Engine, gearbox and exhaust system; belonging to a 1998 ELII XR8 which has 110,000km on it to date. This was transplanted by the previous owner. This car has had considerable time and money spent on it, both maintaining its mechanical components and its bodywork. Engine: This, second to the Falcon GT, was the most powerful Ford of its time (185KW/402NM), designed as a direct competitor to the HSV Clubsport 185i. This engine is in fantastic condition thanks to both its low km and use on much cleaner LPG. No oil consumption or leaks. Servicing was done every six months (often ~2,000km) with Castrol GTX3 and a Ryco Z89 filter. Comes with a K&N performance air filter. Interior: I spent most of my efforts making the interior Fairlane Ghia spec; beautiful Woodrgrain and Chrome throughout. I also purchased a chrome number plate surround and EL Ghia grille which come with the car. Exterior: Bonnet and Front bar were resprayed 12 months ago at over $1,000 cost. This was due to stonechips, not an accident. Other notable features: *LPG and Petrol *Upgraded head unit and speakers. *Interior led conversion *Full Tickford Body kit optioned from factory *Ghia cornering lights Genuine enquiries only please. Or I will reach out the screen and slap you. image image image image image ******************************************************************* $4000
