calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'

Probably only improved fuel and spark maps so E may be slightly more fuel efficient

Hi Mate,
I have a EL Fairmont Ghia Auto which is not on Gas (petrol only). Would these ECU's be suitable? Will the fact it has come out of a duel fuel cause me problems?
Thanks/

The duel fuel part will not be an issue but if you are running the Tickford engine your ECU will have an XR6 tune if you are not running the Tickford engine I cannot see any problem.

Nice one mate.
Another question, and please excuse my ignorance as I am Irish and not too familiar with the Fairmont models, but my Fairmont is a '97 but I'm not sure if its EF or EL. Would your ECU's be ok with both?

Would my Ghia not be already on XR6 tuning since it uses the Tickford engine?

Thanks

A 97 will be an EL, but the easiest way to check is to look at the build plate under the bonnet on the left hand side near the windscreen.

Yes, you should have the Tickford engine, will have a red rocker cover and a large 'T' on the front of the head (remove the plastic belt cover first).
