MAP Sensor Fix
Application All E-series Map Sensors where more than 9-10psi is going to be run What does it do Allows you to run higher boost levels without the MAP sensor stopping you Allows J3 chip (if pressent) to see 0psi and 5psi points How does it work Bleeds off the BOOST ONLY Reference to the map sensor My System if Electronic so all Vacuum Psi is read as normal and allows map sensor to read 5psi and thats it....from there the system bleeds off boost sense so map sensor never sees more than 5psi of boost Tested Sure is...dyno proven to work...and hours and hours of daily driven success...i ran 11-12psi (weather dependant) without the system being anywhere near full potential What else makes it special You can adjust MAX ALLOWED BOOST LEVEL...what psi before system starts to work AND You can adjust BLEED LEVELS....how much boost is directed away from MAP Sensor In my case i bleed 100% so no matter what map sensor would see 5psi and the only ever see 5psi for rest of boost increase (11-12psi) Whats Included - Boost Sensor - Bleed Valve & Boost Controller - All TURBOSMART vac lines (enough vac line to connect from all eseries manifolds to factory map sensor location & to all other components) - Wiring - Everything required to plug and play the system It will be fully assembled for you and will include installation instructions/pics. I will be contactable for any other questions as well This system is my design using off the shelf products to give you an idea HOW TO INSTALL - Unplug and remove old vac line between manifold & map sensor - mount sensor & boost controller somewhere near map sensor - plug big vac line onto manifolds nipple (where you removed the vac line at step1) - plug little vac line onto MAP sensor nipple (where you removed the vac line at step1) - plug little BLACK vac line into a t-piece inline with your factory fuel regulator so it gets the best vac signal - Soldier wire with no markings to GROUND - Soldier wire with white marking to a 12v Fuse Protected Circuit (0.5A fuse is heaps) Start car and your off and working Kit is adjusted currently for 5psi Turn on and Bleed at 100%.....so map sensor will never see more than 5psi boost Kit is currently setup for EF/EL BBM....if you run a EA-ED manifold i have included a longer vac line for you to use PRICE = $150 inc AUS WIDE Shipping Please feel free to contact me Brad PICS

Are you going to be making these up as kits and selling them to members, or is this a one-off? If so...would you be prepared to write up a tutorial on how to build these...along with a parts-list...and approximate cost of parts? I'd be interested in doing one of these later on...as my EA Ghia is nowhere near ready for boost yet!
