Due to a recent XR8 purchase I am forced to sell my Fairlane Ghia. The car is in excellent condition, very comfortable and would be a great car for anyone is interested in owning an E series V8
The Good: - Everglade respray several years ago - Recent full service (inc. engine/diff/auto oils, new oil/air/fuel filter, ignition parts etc) - Very strong engine (no smoke or knocks and matching numbers) - Recently had an auto swap out of a mates EL with 160,000 on clock (incl full service when installed) - Diff is very quiet - Camber Kit - Lowered Pedders Suspension - ROH Mag Wheels - Ford factory tow pack / mudflaps / tint - AU clear side indicators (have original orange ones and V8 Ghia badges as well which can be supplid) - Interior and roof liner is spottless and in absolutely great and original condition - All usual fairlane ghia accessories (very comfortable car to drive!) - Good on fuel (I do a mix of freeway and around town klms and usualy return approx 550k per tank) The Bad: The car passed a RWC in Feb this year and is therefore in good mechanical condition but could do with the following things that I am aware of: - Needs a new PCV valve (one can be supplies with sale) - Due to sitting in a carport with its nose sticking out there is a small amount of crows feet on the bonnet (not noticable from a few feet away and NO paint is peling) - Electric aerial does not work but can still be pulled up manually and works fine This is a really great car, I have had NO problems with it at all and has started first time every time, it will be sad to see it go but I just cannot store two cars at my house otherwise it would be staying. Will be selling with no rego or rwc Asking $1999 or best offer. Contact Jason via PM or on 0431 286 689 |

Ah sorry about the kms i forgot to include that.
The car reads 290,000 but has a previous cluster change. The previous owner had an electrical fault which was thought to be the cluster it turned out that two sensors failed on the same day causing errors on the cluster. he gave me the one that came out of it which reads 227,000. that was replaced about 15,000 ago. so its fairly low kms which matches the overall condition of the car. note the cd player has been removed (can be left in at higher price) all 6 speakers are included which i replaced with quality items a while back note also spoke to the mate who the auto came from and it was reco'd a while back, he is trying to find the receipt for me. so its quite new qhich explains why its shifts so well neg. on price |
