bloody awesome day - i just did a quick tally and i plundered over $3000 worth of stuff (local wrecker prices) for $270 i was contemplating getting a motel room overnight and coming back tomorrow but i had to disassemble my wheelbarrow to fit it back in my trailer as it was!
managed to get some more bits and bobs for my cortina (including a whole 1.8 focus engine) and a heap of parts i need for my next automotive project (involving a ba shifter assembly, an atmega 128 microcontroller and my car) as well as a heap of parts needed for the missuses car, my mums car and the other mondeo im fixing up shame though that the one car that id really love to get my oily spanners on was surrounded by tape anyone thinking it wouldn't be worth the trip tomorrow is delusional also, as there was still s**t of stuff left!

Was pretty surprised at how much stuff was still out there, saw 2 99 fairlane ghias still with complete leather interior at one stage.
I did alright anyway ended up grabbing a few accessories off another BA motor and making one complete one ready to go with pcm, loom the whole lot. Also going to send the GT-P rims off to a mate to have to edges fixed up and put on a jig to try get the centres straightened, will prob never be good enough to run on a car again but will throw some rubber on them and should look pretty tuff on the boat trailer! Not bad at all for some greasy hands, and $120 worth of stuff!
