What? You guys still have real bars with drinking over there?
Over here you'd have to explain to someone the errors of ICE / PURE METH and that they should lay off a dose and get a cable. Hell, I suppose you Aussies were a step ahead back in the day, but all those corrupt cops and dodgy dealers ended up found out, kicked out, or involved in one too many shoot outs. ON TOPIC, ON TOPIC, ON TOPIC. Fiend, for crissakes, stay on bloody topic. Shoulder operation approaches. At that time I will simply phone or email the cable supplier and place my order for one pathetic cable (and risk the echoing twanging sounds of Aussie chicks laughter) and pass on her details to Huggie... I think these 6cyl spec cables are longer than the V8 ones. Can any of you EF-EL guys confirm if your clutch fork exits on the passenger side of the bellhousing? If so, these will be too long for us V8 fellas.

How about running the cable straight out the firewall hole and towards radiator and then back to the gearbox like my mate does with his race car to stop kinks etc... Uhm, wait. V8. Damn, you're going to have four cylinders in the way. Forget I said anything..... |
