Do you have access to 15,000k H1 kits? I have 6,000k low beam H4's, but they work better than my halogen high beam H1's haha. I want a super bright blinding high beam.

15,000K is purple, UV - like in a gay disco. The brightest visible light will be in the 6000-7000K range. Remember this is the colour temperature, not the power output.

Hey mate, these are very easy to install, they are going into your Fairmont yeah? Which will be a H4 globe, Its all plug and play as it connects to your existing loom/ wiring. Takes around 30minutes.. The Hi/Lows take a bit longer as theres a bit more wireing to go into it...not rocket science {USERNAME} wrote: can u tell me the difference between dual and single beam? are there any installation instructions out there? is that $210 posted to my door ? Singlebeam are just your low beams (head lights),...where as a Dual beam Hi/low has your Low beams and your highbeams (using the same bulb) There are installation instructions in the box, and is very simple.. $210 is for the Hi/Low Kit only Postage is approx $15 (I'd have to get your post code) {USERNAME} wrote: Do you have access to 15,000k H1 kits? Yes I can, but if you want blinding light, i would stick to a 6000k or 8000k HID Kit as that would give you optimum temp range {USERNAME} wrote: These dont look like the same kits as they were in the first group buy....

Hi Mate,
so a H/L kit includes 4 globes is this right? I want to do the Fairmont when I get it together. Maybe the Terry should get them too. The Terry has good lights already. Much better than the EF.

Hey mate, The H/L Kit only has 2 Globes, when you put your highbeams on, the solenoid retracts (bends ) the light upwards to give you a highbeam effect, The Terry's have great lighting systems already compared to the Ef's, But if you wanted to go HID it would be brighter. Hopet his helps - Ash

The HID kits are a 35W...even though that seems significantly lower than your standard 55watt Halogen, their alot brighter ( a huge difference)

Honestly 35watt HIDs are significantly brighter than 100watt Halogens, you'll get alot more 'punch' outta HID lights and ur standard Halogens, in saying this i can get in 55watt HID's but I wouldn't recommend them because they would be way to bright Cheers - Ash
