Selling a used K&N air filter.

$60 firm. Thats about 1/2 price.

Pick up or buyer pays for postage too.

Comes from my EF. I'm not sure which other Falcon model airboxs it will fit.

Chunkz why would you mention that?, thats useless information to help the sale, would you like it if you were trying to sell something and someone made comments to detract from your sale
If you dont wanna buy it dont say anything

As timmeh said for those that dont get stolen goods this is an excellent by, i purchased mine for 120 from autobahn! and it will fit ef and el and au

I'm interested in this but need some info, a secondhand airfilter doesn't make sense to me, unless it's washable, what's the go?

yes - its a 'rechargable' filter - you don't ever need to replace it. you can purchase recharge kits from auto shops to service it every 6mths or whenever it needs to be done. performance filter really - most people notice a difference after throwing one in.

if its been looked after, its irrelevant if its 2nd hand - as a service should bring it back like new...

edit: and thats a good price too :P lol sorry timmeh - i already have one! :D

so how does the "recharging" work, feel free to point me to a link so I can read for myself rather than you type it out, and is the recharger kit readily available.

Timmeh pending an answer to the above I'll take it, can you find out how much to send it to Salamander Bay NSW.

the recharge kit is a process of taking out the filter, washing it out, spraying it with a cleaner, leaving to sit, washing out again, then spraying with a special oil, and replacing back into the car - something like that. very easy to do. the kit costs about $25 from s**t/repco's etc - very easy to ge ta hold of i'm sure. its pretty much a cleaner for the filter, restoring it back to *new*.

postage would be sweet FA i'd imagine - theres no real weight/bulk to it at all...

Its size will be the only real cost factor because it doesnt weigh much.
All info can be found at http://www.knfilters.com/filtercharger.htm

When I get my car back from Ford I will take it down and see how much it will be to be posted.
