I got mine yesterday arvo.
So much for certified/registered mail. I came in to find it on my desk with not a marking on it, no one signed for it, no nothing. Oh well... Have fun getting that centre bolt out AK if you don't have the proper torx bit! I tried with a big a** flat screw driver for ages before giving up and going for a drive to borrow one. I vinyl sprayed the centre to get it as close a match as possible to the black leather and dash/doors. It's a little bright at the moment because it's fresh but it'll dull down. Anyway, mine all in now and looks the goods. It's just what I needed to compete my interior look. Thanks Amber

I bought some black vinyl spray yesterday to spray my centre pad to match Now if I can just replace the wheel without my airbag going off I'll be set! lol Disconnect ure battery for a couple of minutes the remove it will be ok .

haha, thanks mate but as per the above pics it's all out and back in no dramas.
I tell ya what though, my computer is having a very tough time relearning whats going on with my very non-stock engine!

You could remove the fuse, but what happens if for some reason someone removes the wrong one or just forgets or something.. just d/c the battery n play it safe IMHO.  Also AU use torx screws thru the whole unit apparently, whereas ef/el use normal screws with one large (T50?) torx screw. About a ten min job on the AU but several ford dealers and $33 for the 5 sided torx to remove air bag bolts. Some ford dealers won't sell it to you and repco could not get the torx bit that suited. I think the average cost is $45 or $50 dollars for ford to do the job on the AU's. ghiaman |

steering wheel is now on, went down to my local jax tyres and they took the bolt out for me, all good, the vinyl spray dye worked wonders and matches almost perfectly.

Hey Hyena,
Thats s**t about the post, as I specifically stated what I wanted. I sent yours and AK47 the same way. AK47, did you have to sign anything to say you got it? I ordered cards to be sent back to me when the mail has been recieved. Hyena, I have all relevent paperwork for clarification, if need be!
