Whats the reason for selling it?

I'm buying another car next friday and can't afford to keep both, plus I am moving into the City and it's not really a city car, I am too precious about it, at least here it's always in the garage.

If you drive it to Perth I'll give ya $13,000 for it. No s**t. I would.

Nah make it $14,000. Then you could fly back. Whack a car bra on for the way over. I'm dead serious.

Yeah, there's a crack in the firewall where the clutch cable goes through that has been fixed with a washer. It's doing a good job, but you'd probably want to get it welded. I've been quoted $600 to get it done, they have to remove the dash and all the insulation so it doesn't catch fire.

And the airconditioning stopped working the other day, despite being regassed in October. Your guess is as good as mine..

Oh yeah, other s**t I forgot to mention;

It's got an aftermarket Alarm and immobiliser, DBA slotted rotors up front and a fire extinguisher mounted infront of the passenger seat.

The fire extinguisher isn't for the XR8, a girl I was dating drove a VW Beetle and those f**k -always- catch fire (bad design, fuel line to carby is not secured) so I thought it might be a good idea to carry it around securely in the car. XR8Chic supplied the bracket.

Funny story, her Beetle did burn down one day, but I was 20km away. Just like I predicted. I guess it wasn't really that funny at the time, but it sure is now ahhahaha

Swap me your rims or I'll tell everyone :P

This is a great car and who ever buys it is getting a bargain. I've seen it many times in the flesh and it looks and goes great. I'd probably buy it myself if I hadn't just spent so much on mine...

Who ever buys it, whack on $300 worth of straight though exhaust and you're laughing :)
