Decided to can my project, so i'm selling off some parts that I prepped for an engine build.













I'd prefer to sell everything as a set, extractors included for around 450. I am willing to seperate though, ask for prices.. Pickup or dropped off around sydney by arrangement but if you want to organise a courier go for it.

Its a hot washed and then sandblasted tickford rocker cover off a 92dt xg xr6 ute motor. Its been repainted in a duplicolor red high temp paint and then scraped back, sanded and polished on the raised aluminium stripes etc.

With it is the log manifold off the same motor, which was very, very, very slowly and patiently deburred/seams filed down, casting marks removed and then sanded and polished to a shine. The underside is not the same mirror finish as the visible parts, but nowhere near the original rough casting surface. Probably well over 15 hours and i dont know how much emery here!

With that I also sanded back, masked, primed and painted a fuel rail in the same red to match the cover. Looks totally tits.

Altogether i was really keen to see all this in my engine bay

I also have a set of motavator extractors from the same motor, sandblasted and oiled up with wd40 to wait until i could get them coated or painted to match the manifold. A bit of stubborn paint left on em unfortunately, the blasting cabinet got blocked up halfway through and I never got back to it.

Incidentally, I also have a whole engine and accessories sitting around in bits. Head was a 92dt, 180,000. looked like a blown HG. Camshaft has some rust and pitting, probably a regrind job. Still have valvesprings. No clue about all the other ACCs.. I poached the starter motor a while back and that went fine for me- got AC, power steering, alternator.

The engine block is probably gonna get hoiked eventually, so if anyone is after parts or whatever or just if you have too much room in your garage let me know. I dont

Also 9" x 14" jelly bean mags that are going back on ebay. 2 of. Currently with some old, dry BFG 265 rubber on them.
