Engine only removed for a V8 conversion.

Up for grabs is a straight 250 pre xflow Ford 6 cylinder motor removed from a 73 model XB Falcon.

Engine in good runing condition when removed (cars odometer was 197600) Last driven on Friday 14th January 2011.

Comes with standard Borg Warner 3 speed automatic gearbox also, in good condition, running and working fine.

Motor and box had done around 3000kms in my possesion, no overheating, purred on the highway. Motor seemed to have some lifter tick when cold, went away aftyer warm up.

Motor will come without the alternator and starter motor, i need to keep these sorry.

Motor does come with the fan and pulley, air cleaner, fuel pump, oil pump, dizzy, leads etc.

Single stromberg carby fitted may need an overhaul, sometimes overfueling on short trips.

There is visual wear on the teeth of the ring gear now the starter is out, but i never had trouble with it.

I can assist with loading as i have an engine crane at home for now.

Please note the rocker cover may be changed for a Ford blue coloured one during the week. One of my club members may take the orange one for his project.

Item is for pickup only at Robina on the Gold Coast. Is sitting on a trolley on tyres at the front of my house, would appreciate pick up as soon as possible after auction.
