Hey guys,

Since I have my new AU motor running in my EB II it is time for me to sell my old motor.

Its a 4.0L 6 Cylinder from my 1993 EB Series 2 Fairmont. It has done a bit under 300,000kms however it still ran 100%. I only removed it as I thought there was a knocking noise coming from the engine but after removing it I found it was only a loose bolt on the auto tranny (torque convertor bolt).

The engine comes with alternator, water pump, aircon compressor (works perfectly). Both the exhaust and inlet manifolds are included. It does not include power steering pump, no distributor, no wiring loom for inlet manifold. You will need a new thermostat housing as the one on there at the moment suits an AU (only costs like $25 from supercheap auto). The only other thing to note is that there is a broken off bolt on the inlet manifold side which I havent gotten around to removing (and you dont really need to).

At the moment the engine is just taking up room and I would like to be rid of it. I'm looking for $80 for the lot. I do have an engine crane so the engine could be easily lifted onto a trailer or ute. PICKUP ONLY. Its located Brisbane northside (4km from city).
