Acid bath Reground & balanced crank 0.040" overbore CNC honed Mahle forged race pistons and rings ACL race big end and main bearings New factory oil pump New timing chain and guides New core plugs New harmonic balancer New cam position sensor New crank angle sensor Modified sump to suit E series New crank seals Painted in low gloss black Comes with headgasket and a bunch of other gaskets Over 4k worth of work and parts. For N/A purposes it would handle as much as it could possibly make.
If it were boosted you'd need to swap the pistons as they would be way too high comp. According to calculations it should be around 11.5:1 comp with a standard head and AU gasket. AU rods are generally regarded as the weakest factory rod, it usually holds to about 300rwkw (I chose them because they are the lightest). |
