Pyroay, I maybe stupid, but how do those battery terminals fit to the battery ??
Also have you had a chance to ask your mate about CD-TEXT on the Clarion Head Unit - another post from a week or so ago. |

Thanks for that - it really annoys me as the CD is set-up perfectly, but it still won't read the titles. Anyway do you have any pics with these terminals fitted to a car. I suppose you have to remove the old clamps or cut them off and place the cables into the ends of the terminal. Apart from looking really nice what other benefits do they give the user ??

I do not have a pic of them fitted, i will have to take a picture of PYROLY which has the HPM ones on but it simply looks like the terminals sitting on a bettery. But yes smply disconnect the old terminals and stip the wires back about 1cm then insert into the terminals. Took me about 30min allup to change both over and get it all wired up. Benefits are. - They do not corrode away like cheap battery terminals - They look cool and show battery voltage - They accetp o gauge cable which regular battery terminals do not - They are very secure when done up tight - Plastic sheilding over the positive to prevent sparks I guess thats about it.

Quote: HPM series w/blue LED readout switches between volts and amps (note this is one of the terminals I have used in PYROLY and looks very good) I also have this in stock… $79 (RRP $156) Is this an electric style circuit breaker or does it have a wire fuse? Does it take 4guage wire?

It has a fuse that goes inside. It can take 2 fuses so maximum rating is 300amps (2 x 150amps)
It takes 0 gauge or 4 gauge with a sleve insert which it comes supplied with...
