Hi All, have had alot of enquiries as to why the engine has been removed.

Well, basically I bought the car with the intention of taking all the good bits, returning it to standard and then giving it to my little brother for free as a learner car.

I did all that, but even for free he doesn't want it! He hates Fords and Holdens - He's got his heart set on an imported Nissan Skyline turbo (probably not the best move, ie too powerful, for an 18 year old!).

After that, I decided I wanted the gearbox for my other car as it was rebuilt, strengthened and had a hi-stall.

Since the engine was an EL XR6 one that had just been rebuilt, made sense to sell the motor, take the trans out at the same time, and wreck the rest.

I know I can make alot more if I wreck it, but if I can sell what's left whole for $1500 then I can move onto my other car straight away. If it doesn't sell for $1500 then I will be wrecking it at a later date, but slowly.

I will try to get some more detailed pictures up this weekend, but this is not your typical bomb that gets wrecked. It's very clean and straight and definitely worthwhile either chucking another engine/trans in, or buying it for all the good bits, and wreck the rest for a profit. - This is exactly what I would like to do, but I don't have the time right now.
