I found these old CRT monitors of mine; a Philips 17" monitor and a Total Peripherals 14" VGA monitor. They work absolutely fine and the photos below show them both operating with Windows XP.

The Philips monitor can do a resolution of 1280 x 768 and the TP monitor can do a resolution of 1024 x 768.

Price $20 each.

You should keep them... a couple more years and they will probably be worth money!

But yes, as testing monitors or something they do seem beneficial

Regarding pickup - just drop them from your top storey balcony and be sure to video tape it - I will clean up the shards when I'm up your way next.
