Ask him if he's got what you want, that's what I did, and now I've ended up spending double what I was planning to, cause he's got everything I want.

:D and :(

You mentioned you have an AU Fairlane coming in.. with the IRS have u actaully seen the IRS in an e-series?

I've heard of the theory on it, but aint heard of anyone actually doing it.

i have fitted a AU IRS into a EB XR8
took about 2 days with a bit of cutting and drilling out spotwelds.some more cutting and welding in mounts and presto  . f**k what a difference well worth the $3000 that the customer spent to get it fitted. we used a AU xr8 exhaust that bolted straight in and the original tailshaft fitted straight in.

if you are keen i can give you some more info.

you will need rear door trims - now you need to choose a style
you will need the center console switch assembly
you will need 2 window regulators
you will need wiring

you will need the mouldings from a fairmont & above - which means they wont suit your futura trimmings, unless you mod your fabric inserts to fit the holes from the electrics.
