OK we have a EL 3.45:1 lsd from a XR8 for $850
and a complete GENUINE ef 5speed conversion (not a modified ea one!!)
for $1200 without computer or $1500 with xr6 computer

and will freight to a depot in brissy for free.
you would need to pick it up from there

Sounds good... but do u guys have a 3.7:1 LSD?
Or do u guys reckon the 3.45:1 LSD will be quite a power jump from my current 3.08:1 NON LSD?

3.7 will rev pretty high, 3.45 should be a significant jump

you will need the mouldings from a fairmont & above - which means they wont suit your futura trimmings, unless you mod your fabric inserts to fit the holes from the electrics.

Ok so i need Fairmont door trim. Trim is just the door panel and fabric isnt it and a Fairmont has different trim for the windopws.

This is correct?

yah. you can fit your futura cloth trimmings onto the fairmont door trims, so that you can have them matching - but you'll need to cut a hole for the electric window switch.

it should make more sense when you actually start the job - but yes, you will need the fairmont rear door trims

Heya Darren,

Pedal box is all in!! :)

Feels weird having a 3rd pedal floppin' around down there.

Just waiting to see what the going rate is for the gearbox installation (hopefully have a good mate doing it!!)

Do you know what the going rate is to get it installed??

you have done the hard part putting the pedal box in.
the rest should cost 250-300 to have installed.
the hard part is getting the auto out the rest is easy
dont forget to get a spigot bearing :D
