i dont think adapters are legal (rim spacers) in vic

i was in @ bob jane t mart the other day and asked and apparently cos they extend the wheel out further if pushed the load out further and the stock hub wasnt meant to bare that load and apparently weakens it and over time it can break.......

at least i think thats what he was sayin..... anyhow they are illegal cos he wouldnt let me get ba xr rims with adapters....

You sure he wasn't refering to spacers? adaptors are differant.

spacers are tottally diferent to adapters, adapters bolt onto your previous stud pattern creating a extended stud, on the other hand spacers act like washers and they are il-legal.

note to self; take photos and post them! :P

I wouldn't mind a genuine grey momo wheel for an EF if you have one lying around. I don't want the AU momo wheel, but the one available for the EF/ELs as a genuine option from Ford.

Will these fit to lower spec models????
will the stereo and cruise controls still work????
The outer section of mine is deteriorating.
Is it just the outer section of the wheel ... and I just use my current airbag centre????
