Come one, come all… To Fordmods first group buy on Nolathane bush kits.
I have arranged with a supplier local to me to be able to supply the Falcon Nolathane full car bush kits at far below their RRP. And a fair bit below the cheapest prices I have seen or found anywhere. These kits comprise every bush in your Falcon from front to back, nothing is missed. The kits also contain an order form for the sway bar bushes, once you get to measure your sway bar. Once faxed or mailed back, Nolathane will post out your required bushes at no additional cost. Installation is reasonably easy, generally taking only a few hours across the weekend. Depending what car you have, some bushes may require a press for removal, unless you are able to make up your own bush puller. The benefits of installing these bushes are huge. If you car is feeling a little old and tired and you can hear the bushes creaking, replacing all the bushes easily transforms the car into feeling brand new. I replace the bushes in my EL every couple of years, and it’s always amazing how different the car feels. Plus as the bushes are Nolathane, they are typically a little stiffer than the factory rubber equivalents, so they will provide better steering, braking and handling responses. Each kit contains the following bushes: FRONT: Inner lower control arm bushes Shim adjustable upper arm bushes / camber kit Shock Absorber to lower control arm Shock Absorber upper body bush Radius rod to control arm bush Radius rod to K-Frame bush Sway bar bushes – ordered via fax Sway bar link bushes REAR: Shock Absorber lower bushes Shock Absorber upper bushes Sway bar bushes – ordered via fax Sway bar link bushes Lower trailing arm bushes Upper trailing arm bushes Watts link rod bushes Watts link pivot bush These kits are complete as above. There are no mixing or matching parts. You cannot request changes to the kit from me or Nolathane. More information can be found at the Nolathane website – {DESCRIPTION} Now to the business end… For the supplier to be able to get these prices, we must order at least 10 kits of any combination. A deposit of at least $200 must be paid at least 2 weeks before the order date, with the final balance to be paid by the order date. Once the full balance is paid and the kits ordered, there will be no refunds. Remember I need at least 10 buyers to make this happen, so please consider carefully and be serious about purchasing a kit. The kits will be built by Nolathane, and I am told they can take upto 2 weeks post the order date to get the kits to my supplier in Melbourne. This is because they make these kits to order, they don’t keep them on the shelf. Once delivered to my supplier, I will pick them up, and you will be free to collect the kits from me personally, or I can post anywhere in Australia at the buyers cost. The kits aren’t too heavy, so I would think $10 to $15 should get them anywhere across the country. Order date – 18th July 2008 Deposit by – 4th July 2008 Delivery to supplier – Approx 1st August 2008 Prices Kit Number EVOFORD1 to suit EA to EB2 $430 EVOFORD2 to suit EB2 to ED $475 EVOFORD3 to suit EF to EL $595 EVOFORD4 to suit AU $605 EVOFORD4F to suit AU/BA $360 - ** FRONT END ONLY ** These prices represent a massive saving over the RRP. For example, the EF/EL kit RRP’s for $795. I have seen prices from major resellers for between $695 and $1055. So you are saving between 15 and 44% depending where you go. So if you are interested in ordering a kit, send me a PM. In it please list which kit you require. I will reply back that I have received your request and my bank details for sending the deposit. If you have paid a deposit and I am unable to gather the 10 required buyers, depending on numbers I will ask the supplier if they can still work with the number of kits being purchased. If not I will unfortunately cancel the group buy and return all deposits. Any questions drop me a PM or post here and it will be answered. Depending on numbers, etc, I might extend the dates by a couple of weeks. I just realised this falls on the good ol' tax refund time, and a couple more weeks would allow everyone to file their returns and get their tax refunds. Is this the case with you? If this is the case with alot of people, I'll revise the dates now. |

Actually i didnt think of tax time, but i just bought a s**t load of parts which depleted my cash somewhat. Mate, if you could postpone by even just 2-3 weeks i can be in.

They last as long as rubber bushes, if not longer. But like any moving, pliable part they wear over time and get softer. I swap them every couple of years because I can. I like the feeling that my car is like brand new all the time. I'm a picky prick like that. The ones I recently took out can easily be used in someones car for another couple of years. |

Don't worry about ARM79. He likes his EL's to handle like go-karts... and drives like they are too!
Asn he said though, they don't need to be replaced every couple of years. But your car will feel heaps better with the Nolathane kit. |

How hard are they to install? And how long to they take?
I'm sure I could manage but time, or lack of it, is a big thing for me.
