Went to the exhuast shop today. They had design 1 almost done when i got there. They just had to cut the pipe because it was made as a single piece not 2 (done on purpose) and they were making up some mounts for it and the jigs.

HOPEFULLY Mark from ET finishes the jig this week. When he is happy with it he will be giving me a call and i will have to go down there on Saturday to have a look, point out anything that is needed and is im all happy with that then he needs final numbers.

They are a stainless steel (and this is what i was told today) but they are chemical painted IIRC and will look f**k hot. So when thats all done then i can get them to make them all up.

Bonnet clearance should be ok. I assume Mark has tested this all out. Ill double check with him tomorrow.

RE bonnet clearance, if you have an EF, switching to an EL bonnet liner will give you more space. I fitted a JMM combo EL intake to my EF (similar to design 1), and found it rubbed thru the EF liner. It doesnt even touch the EL one i fitted on Saturday.

The lists being posted up are old. Please don't keep re-posting them saying "BUT I'VE PAYED!" We know you've payed but Ben needs to do the s**t a*** job of going through his transaction records and figuring out who's payments are who's. It's a tad hard when some bright sparks out there put "INTAKE" or "GROUP BUY" as the payment description  Rest assured, if you've payed for an intake, then you'll get an intake.

Update:

The guys from exhaust technology made design 2 a few weeks ago. That is all done and i updated some pics.

Then the next week they started on design 1. This was the next week because they broke the bender.

Then last wednesday they finished off design 1 with my car.

The last few days they have been making that all good.
Now to make the intakes they need to make a jig. This is basically a template for the intakes. They were hoping to nail that by this arvo but Mark never rang me.

I SHOULD be seeing them tomorrow to see how progress is.

Once they have got the jigs made up i have to finalize numbers. I gave them some rough numbers wednesday but more people have paid.

When the final number have been passed to Mark he will get them all bent up and coated. Bending for about 15 intakes will take about a day. Then they have to coat them which is another day.

Did you stop and think that maybe, just maybe, he hasn't posted an update because.... Shock horror... He hasn't got one?

He posted his mobile number, if you're that worried, call him... Stop cluttering up the thread with BS guys.... I come here thinking "Great, the thread's been updated" but it's just another whiny lil b**ch complaining because Stomper and Mongoose aren't giving us daily updates...

It's been 6 days since his last update, how much more info can he possibly have???
