i have run 2 group buys before (heatsheilds) and both times everyone got what i told them they would get, and got them in the time frame i told them...
fordmods has to change something here. maybe by applying restirctions to the people that are allowed to organise group buys. of course its never going to be fool proof and problems can happen! because some people just dont care as much as others! some ideas would be 1. must be older than 21 (more responsible than a 17yr old) 2. must be a member for at least a year 3. must supply some sort of action plan, with a reasonable time frame 4. must say who will be doing the work (home job or done by someone professional) 5. must describe EXACTLY what is being made, and EVERYTHING that will be supplied. including what material, colours, specs, etc... 6. all templates, designs, and testing to be carried out prior to initiating a group buy ( this avoids such a long and drawn out process like this one!) 7. this must all me submitted to a moderator and approved by them (of course they accept no responsibilty) but at least it will reduce the chance of an un organised group buy going wrong... i know this has nothing to do with intakes, but hey, someone has to say something and put forward some ideas to stop such crap from happening all the time! because after this group buy, alot of people will hesitate to participate in one again! thats my 2 cents!

Finally, someone actually got the balls and said it :p Instead of saying "ring him, ring him"
I agree 100% with fast-xr. Specially number 6 - must finalise the product before receiving payments/approval from customers. That way, we arent waiting for update after update after update. Group buys should be confirmed and sorted before they even start.. Dont mind number 1 either :p Sticky what fast-xr said

I have PM Mongoose (Sam) and 1800reverse (simon) to get another contact number for Stomper (Ben), as his phone has been off all week.
Will reply if anyone gets back to me, 1800reverse ignored my last PM.

Hey guys,
His name is Ben by the way. I may as well reply in here. The only contact number I have for him is his mobile and, like you said, his phone is off and he isn't taking calls. He's got ALL the intakes and all your details so Simon and I, as much as we'd like to, cannot do anything about this ridiculous situation. We, like you, will keep trying to reach him and get this mess sorted out. Not that it's our fault but sorry anyway to all those who have been stuffed around by this. Sam.

Bunter - you have nothing to do with this thread so why are you piping up in it?
This group buy is being looked into by the mods.

Am in contact with the mods to get this matter resolved.
In the mean time. Could all those who have payed for an intake please PM me with their postal address and also let me know which design they ordered. I currently have no way of verifying who has or hasn't payed for what so please be honest.

There is not a heap we can do but we will try a few avenues to get everyone their goods before we give up
