im pretty relaxed, i have my intake!

given the track record, unless you have spoken to him personally to chase where it is, i wouldnt expect it to turn up out of the blue. perhaps he will update the thread when the rest are packed.

Heres a new spanner in the works

My intake after having the the black paint removed is showing signs of surface rust.
It's been sitting in the garage the last few days, and we have had a couple of days of rain. So there was a bit of moisture in the air but no contact.

Can I ask firstly, Why were the intakes painted?
I didn't think stainless should do that so quick

I must admit... I'm a little p****d off... First of all, I was expecting a STAINLESS intake, not this mild steel POS that I can see is rusting (albeit surface rust) on the inside of the pipe...

THEN.... I look at the postage for the box... $14.65 THE DODGY F'N PRICK CHARGED ME $30 FOR POSTAGE!!!

Then again, buyer beware, God help stomper if he ever has the misfortune to meet me though!

Seriously guys, anyone dealing with Stomper in the future be warned, he's a dodgy little customer! Wonder how much profit he made outta this little exercise?

this has got to be the biggest joke of a group buy ive ever seen on the dozens of forums i've been on over the years. i really do feel for you guys that paid your hard earned money to a child. the interest alone would have paid for his for free.

if you questioned the material supplied... look at the thread title :)

its horse s**t, but what are we going to do? i'd support going to the cops even now, but who else would, and who is going to chase it?

the internet sucks, move on with your life.

In the end, you gotta think if it's worth it... I really couldn't be bothered taking any action over this... I'm over it really... I would like to see Stomper's access removed from this part of the forums though, to stop him ripping off any member in the future!

if the mods were to take action like that... i think you'd find it would be a little more than just removing his access from this section.. :S

I don't think stomper will be back on the forums at all. Wasn't he selling his car anyway?

Mate, he's been going to sell his car, wreck his car, buy a BMW, buy a BA, buy a Commodore, buy a Merc etc etc ever since I met him. He's all talk... I learnt that the hard way. He's currently got my intake, my EL T-piece and two of my wheels (which I'm sure are tread-less by now). I'm almost certain I'm never getting any of it back unless I go and steal it.

Not to worry though, last I heard was that his car has a Regency defect on it. For those not in S.A. this basically means, with a car like his, it won't be back on the road again.

scattered65, if you're not in this group buy, don't post. That has been made very clear. People have been offered his address by Nicko so they don't need to chase his number plate.

Although the legal points you've put forward are interesting. I just doubt people on here will go to that much effort.
