All the lids themselves are identical. It's just the hole that the intake clamps into that is different, that piece is easily removable.

So we don't even get to see what it looks like before we commit? I can see a heap of Fordmodders turning up at Stompers or Mongoose's house angrily waving useless bits of stainless steel pipe in anger.

We are not going to have a cut off time for payment like Stomper is saying. There are a lot of people waiting on a finished product before they are willing to commit which is more than understandable. We will post pics of of the finished product as soon as they're done at which time all people who are undecided can either continue with paying or pull out. No pressure.

I can vouch 100% that the AU airbox is different to the EF. If i had a bit of pipe inside the box like the EF one, I would have saved a few hours trying to get mine all set up.

the AU is a b**ch to get a pod in compared to the EF.

Yeah... But my question was regarding whether a EF lid would fit on an AU.

But i like low EFII's idea, and I'm going to have all the materials here already, so I'll give that a go...

Stomper was MEANT to book the car in... He's working at the moment so I'll contact him tomorrow and see if he's done it. They need one of our cars for 5 hours per intake to make up the initial templates.

Will let you know where we're at tomorrow night.
