can anyone here with an EA-ED and eb gt boot, confirm that with the shifter + eb gt boot, the stick goes into all gears without pulling on the boot at any part? especially reverse?
Also, what kind of gear knob will fit on the stick? |

of course it will go into gears yagz
its a shorter throw therefore less flex in the leather the gear knob i believe will be std ie threaded head, look at first post theres a pic link.

from what i believe, the Tri-Ax handle thread wont allow the factory knob to be fitted, an aftermarket with 'universal' fitting will be required. As for moving the boot with gear throws, ive got the GT boot on my EB, and it barely moves as is, with a shorter shifter, there will be no problem

OK guys, an update from US on the first order. I have been told that the shifters should leave Miami by Tuesday (wednesday here). So I would expect them in Australia by the following Tuesday at the latest (15-8). then I will need to re-package and send them out so hopefully those with the first order will have them by Friday 18-8-06.
I will hopefully have some news on the second order early next week. |
