I think $10,000 is probably too much for 170,000 k's.

I agree - 170K is kinda normal for EL's now...being manual is a great selling point - if it were a S2, I'd expect it to fetch a few more thou...but at the same time, it does *appear* to be a tidy example...would have to see it in the flesh / drive it to get a more accurate idea obviously. Still - the price would have to be appealing to the designated demographic...maybe Sydney fuel prices are more of an indication regarding V8 sales price *shrugs*

If I was in the market for an ELXR8, I'd shortlist it for sure.

glenn my ED had done 152,000 odd k's when i bought it. So i guess it varies as to who rove them obviously. Old guy owned my car before me, so wasnt driven hard, and was babied pretty much. Where as i'm sure alot of the XR's would have higher k's for cruiseing time to show off.

a mechanic i know, works in some ford dealership in echuca, reckons the salesman there hasnt seen an EL or EF XR8 manual come through in over 8 years of working there. This is the biggest ford dealership in the southern hemisphere by the way. They are pretty rare
