On a related note, would any "T5 short shifter" fit our falcons ?

They're available O/S for mustangs and the like pretty cheaply

dunno I'll try and find out though.. I have a pretty good feeling that the pickup points in the linkage may be different. having the t5 bolted to a v8 would have different bellhousing lenghts, and the shifter linkages may be a different position.

but definatly worth checkin out..
