Hi All,
I have a leather cappucino handbrake cover with chrome button for sale - perfect for someone to upgrade their low series to the higher series. The leather handle and chrome button are in good nick - $50 Pics to come shortly Cheers, Steve PS, Also note that you can't buy the chrome button without the entire floor mounted handbrake assembly from Ford...even if it is still available from Ford too Last edited by dcstraight on Tue Jul 11, 2006 1:24 am, edited 1 time in total. |

Yeah - it's funny - I bought an entire floor mounted assy out of a wrecked NF or NL *just* for the chrome button as the wrecker wouldn't let it go by itself *grrr*
I already had a leathered handbrake handle done by Gary Blackman in Richmond (top work!) - and yeah considering the steering wheel, handbrake, gear shifter and door handles are things that get used everyday, I think it's more than cosmetics for getting the nicer bits Cheers, Steve |

its only the handbrake cover - takes all of 2mins but this ones in cappa - which won't go with anything in your futura interior. you're better off waiting until you can get hands on a grey leather one...

I would be interested in buying this part, but I just need to confirm; would it fit in my EB GLi?

lol the EA-ED's had the handbrake under the dash to the left of the steering column - so unless you've changed it to an EF/EL floor-mounted handbrake, def not!

I sense a disturbance in the force...nice attempt at being a subtle a*** Matt - it can be cappucino to your advantage...just means when you're done with it (internally), you don't have to wipe it down afterwards...just make sure you don't lose the chrome button --> refer to Pulp Fiction speech made by Christoper Walken regarding an 'uncomfortable piece of metal'

Well then Stevo, perhaps I will purchase it and put it in the EL coz I do get ever so fed up wiping it down all the time. BTW, I've found a solution to said Christopher Walken problem. Just grab the ring sizing tool from the metal work room at school, run it across the back of a subby a few times, insert, remove and voila. No more uncomfortable piece of metal!
