I am selling an amplifier that was removed from an EL Fairmont Ghia.
According to the sticker on the underside of the amplifier it was manufactured by FMS Audio, however, upon carrying out an internal inspection the amplifier appears to have been manufactured by Alpine. The following details are listed on the sticker: Serial No: V71226513 Ford 94DA - 18T805 - AA Model No: FPA 003A1X 12V DC Negative Ground Made In Japan FMS Audio 54B61085W03-0 The amplifier has 4 x RCA inputs (Channels 1,2,3 & 4) and 4 x Speaker Outputs (Channels 1,2,3 & 4). Output channels 1 & 2 are bridged. The amplifier includes a 30 amp. blade fuse installed and has terminals for 'BATT', 'REMOTE' and 'GND'. The amplifier is in working order and is cosmetically sound. I have seen these same amplifiers on eBay sell for $50.00 plus shipping costs. It may be a smart idea to list the amplifier on eBay. If I do list it I will be sure to provide a link in this thread. I am also willing to swap the amplifier for a keyless remote to suit an EL Falcon (seller pays shipping of amplifier and keyless remote). |
