whats wrong with the trip comp? does it work??

If it works i may take it!

Ok. Here is the story. It is an EL trip computer on the outside with an EF Trip computer on the inside. The circutry is out of an EF one. The Search button has begun to 'rub off'.
The reason for swapping the circutry is that the EL seems to work with my car better than the EF did. The EF worked fine, apart from when the headlights went on, the LCD screen went out after a few seconds. The LCD screen would then turn on when the indicator was used, or high beams etc. So instead of working ou the issue I simply swapped the circutry.
The EF trip computer was bought from xr8 dismantler. I essentially just wanted the casing.
